Marvel author Neil Kleid joins the pod to talk about his upcoming novel release called - The Phoenix Chase. A soaring space adventure starring Kid Omega and the Starjammers in Sh'ar Space from Aconyte Books. To reflect on the book, Neil chose X-Men: Emperor Vulcan #1 to x-read with us as it was one of his research tools when crafting his story. Neil has written several comic books and graphic novels; adapted Jack London’s novel Call of the Wild into sequentials for Penguin Books; did the opposite for the seminal Marvel Comics' storyline Spider-Man: Kraven's Last Hunt; and co-authored Powers: The Secret History of Deena Pilgrim, a novel based on the award-winning comic book series.
