This week, Israel has arrested (again) Khalida Jarrar, an iconic Palestinian leader, in the occupied West Bank. She was last released from prison in September 2021, after serving two years on charges of belonging to the Popular Front for Liberation of Palestine, a left-wing group in Occupied Palestine. More than 300 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli forces in the West Bank since Oct. 7 in addition to over 3,100 others injured, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.Her daughter, Yafa Jarrar, joined us in 2022 to speak about the realities of living under an occupation. Yafa is a lawyer and human rights activist advocating for Palestinian human rights. This segment dives into the harsh realities that Palestinians face, specifically in the West Bank where Hamas does not rule.
