“Been watching Yokai Legends since the podcast started. The first five seasons are the best as they truly define the spirit and great quality that Yokai Legends is about.
However though, the episode and season quality of this podcast has been decreasing since season 10. It has been noticeably worse since the last few recent seasons. It’s like the podcast host is running out of ideas (similar episode titles to some previous episodes for one) from what I noticed. New and too much content gets released quickly without giving it the time and proper quality this podcast once had. It seems likely that most Yokai has been covered from the sources this podcast uses.
To the person behind that devil in the podcast icon, if you want to improve your podcast:
- Take a listen to the first five seasons to figure out why this podcast was once great.
- Put in more time and put in the better quality into your future content to match the first five seasons.
- Don’t release your new seasons too quickly. After the end of the season that is current, give the podcast a one month break so you can take the time and effort on how to make the next season better. For each episode release for the current season, release two episodes per week.
I highly recommend listening to the first five seasons to experience the best quality of this podcast. Seasons 6-10 are a good watch if you want to learn more Yokai. Starting from Season 10, be warned because the quality will dip from here.”
