I’m also aware that reading is a huge privilege that not all of us have. My MIL is illiterate and my FIL had a 1st grade reading level so they taught me how absolutely blessed/privileged/lucky/empowered/free I am to have the opportunity to read, and to shape my soul and my children’s souls…I’m grateful for that awareness and knowledge, and I read with extra joy and gratitude.”
