“As a woman in the wind down stage of treatment for breast cancer-I have wept and laughed as I listen to these ladies. They possess just the right combination of empathy, dark humor and first person knowledge that has buoyed me with a sense of not being alone. At times I felt as if I was listening to someone tell MY story—only in a more articulate, funny way! I wish I had found them sooner so I felt less alone on my toughest days. I plan to ask select friends and family to listen to these pod casts with the hope they gain more understanding of an experience that is not unique to me-yet difficult to understand if you haven’t been through it yourself.
A MUST for anyone who is trying to care for or be a friend to someone who is going through any type of cancer.
