Exceptionally good podcast by three amazing ladies
I am a 44 year old father of a 5 year old. We lost our amazing mummy/wife last year. Because my wife was so positive, there was always hope and even at the end there was positivity as we learned that things could have always been worse. This podcast is spot on as it underlines not to assume anything , that cancers and patients are so different to make stats almost irrelevant to you as an individual. Also that cancers do hit younger people more often than we think, that there are highs (after a good scan or an all clear), and that life is for living, whether before, during or after having cancer. I really rate this first episode and it amazingly did not make me cry, as many things do these days, because it is so naturally positioned by three inspiring ladies. Hats off and thanks for what you are doing for those listening to you. You rock and I wish you lots of happiness and long lovely lives.
