Is it still alive?
It’s been pretty hit and miss. The D&D runs were good enough to keep me listening, the Pokémon themed one was “meh,” but did get better (I admit, I’m just old enough that Pokémon wasn’t a thing for me, but I knew the general idea). I absolutely love the backwoods Cuthulu campaign though. It’s got humor and mystery and action. The horror aspect of it isn’t overdone gore for no reason, and the story is interesting. My one gripe is that it seems to be dead. It takes months for new episodes to come out. If it was more regular, or even gave us an update on why things were so slow, I’d give it a higher rating, but it honestly seems like maybe they’ve just moved on.

This is the first actual play podcast I've subscribed to, and it's terrific. The DM and players are a pleasure to listen to: funny without being too silly. The story is engaging, the characters are interesting, and it's technically very well done. Great job guys, thanks!Read full review »
