“Everything I know about the Manson Family I learned from Karina Longworth. Ms. Longworth’s respect for the victims and desire to tell the story in all of its gruesome glory is a treat for any lover of true crime and Old Hollywood alike. She neither glorifies the Manson Family, nor treats them like an unspeakable evil. She humanizes even Charlie, a difficult feat for sure since society seems determined to believe that he was born evil and there was nothing they could have done to get in the way of that. Some how it makes him seem smaller, and less scary.
This podcast won’t disappoint!”
