'The Wicker Man' & 'Don't Look Now' Double Bill

Description
In 1973 ‘Don’t Look Now’ and ‘The Wicker Man’ were released in the UK as a double feature, with the cult classic ‘The Wicker Man’ as the supporting picture to the main release of Nicolas Roeg’s ‘Don’t Look Now’. James (who’s 16) had never seen either of these horror classics before, so we watched them back-to-back (with a 15-minute intermission) and recorded a podcast about the experience.  Why are there so many parallels between the two films and does watching them as a double bill impact your overall opinion of each?   Warning: As these films are 50 years old, we talk openly about their twists and key plot points.  Follow us on Twitter @talkinfilm, view our posts on TikTok @talkin_film, find and like our page on Facebook and please subscribe wherever you get your podcasts.  If you like what we’re doing, please recommend us and leave us a positive review on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
