In the mountains region of Southeast Asia, lies a nation of many cultures and names. This nation has been influenced by buddhism, hinduism and many different ethnic groups. This nation saw some of the most successful dynasties of the region rule a large area. There were also many eras of invasion and colonization that affected this history in many ways. The people of this nation also launched a lot of resistance movements to gain proper representation throughout the 19th and 20th centuries. This is Myanmar.
