Description
In today's episode we chat to Lwando Melamane. Lwando Melamane was raised by his mother in a township called Masiphumelele in FishHoek. Despite growing up in challenging circumstances, he managed to rise above the odds and matriculate from Masiphumelele high school with distinctions in all his subjects. He was then accepted by the Moshal Scholarship Program after applying through Ikamva Youth. Lwando was fascinated by Engineering and everything electronic. This led him to apply for a Bsc in Mechanical and Mechatronic engineering at the University of Cape Town. Today he is doing his third year with a first class cumulative grade average and has been included in the UCT Engineering Dean's List
