Join Reetu Raina as she interviews Shir Erlichman, an HR Partner at Amdocs who has been with the company for three years. Shir most recently completed her MSc in Organizational Behavior at Tel Aviv University. As a Gen Z herself, Shir discusses with Reetu her career at Amdocs and shares some of the challenges that she has faced and how her career is a combination of both choice and chance.  Key Takeaways: Born into technology.  Gen Z has a fearless approach to technology because they were born in a generation where “everything is a Google away”. They don’t fear technology because they are confident that they can search for whatever information and tools they need.  The desire to grow careers quickly.  There’s a want for fast growth so Gen Z communicates regularly about opportunities and personal aspirations. Shir shares that she was unintentionally doing her check-ins very frequently and when speaking with her Gen Z colleagues, she discovered that they were doing the same.  Recognizing general differences. Many Gen Z don’t put up their hands for tasks for fear of being accused of acting in a condescending manner. They fear appearing overly confident or boastful and need encouragement and feedback.
