A safe space for parents to admit failure
At 2:50 into the podcast, Sue says “parenting is not a cumulative skill set.” At this point I could have stopped and felt listening was worth my time (I didn’t). What I appreciate most about this podcast (and all that Your Teen Media puts out) is the safe space it creates for parents to admit we are failing and we need help. In the carefully curated world in which many of us find ourselves, it’s possible to feel like you are the only one struggling. Thanks to Sue and Steph for reminding us that this is not true. I look forward to listening to many more episodes.
