“Malice you’re not a comedian and you’re not funny, that’s not to say you aren’t interesting or capable of being engaging. When you interrupt your guest every other minute to shoehorn in an unfunny joke attempt and are the only one laughing, you derail the convo. A guest repeatedly asking “Where was I?” from your continuous interruptions is an unlistenable mess. If you just want to hear yourself talk and make unfunny jokes, don’t have guests. If you want to have decent conversations with guests then shut up and let them talk.
