“You should not judge a book by its cover. Well that’s what I told myself when I stumbled across this podcast, YouTube Creators Hub. I saw no rating and was instantly thinking, bail out and search on for something with a solid rep… Then I thought to myself, I’m a YouTube creator, with only one video on my channel so far. I only 8 subs and a minuscule 90+ views, yet I want exposure and how do I find that exposure?...
Well I have been educating myself on how to build a successful YouTube channel. I do this by researching online, talking with other creators and marketers. On my quest for knowledge I stumbled across the podcast ‘YouTube Creators Hub’ and had no idea if this is a reputable source of info. Like I said, I almost scrolled on when I saw no star rating, but then I decide I will give this podcast the benefit of the doubt, and give it a crack! How else does a nothing become a something?
Well Dusty Porter, you sir make awesome, engaging and informative content. I so happy that I gave this podcast a red hot go. In just two days I have learnt a whole lot more about YouTube, but have also found myself feeling part of a large online community. I dig how you encourage people to grow and you help nurture and guide fellow YouTubers with top tips and techniques that work. I’ve already learnt a fair bit about you and can see that you are a worthy source. So I recommend this podcast to anyone and everyone that has a YouTube channel!
I run a DIY channel called Tinker, and I have only recently launched my first video. If you like coffee and you like YouTube, then search ‘Making Cold Brew with Duby at Tinker’ and enjoy!
P.S. My name is Duby, pronounced ‘Doobie’. It’s a nickname formed by the shortening of my surname Dubczuk, pronounced ‘Doob-Chook’. HAHA!”
