Curiously sticky
My pastor had some classes with Zane at Dallas Theological and would occasionally make reference to something Zane wrote or said. These snippets were concentrated ideas which would stick in my head for years. I finally did some reading of my own and found Zane’s writing to be very accessible for a non seminary guy, though it does take some time to work through the implications. An example is an argument he makes that in Hebrews the salvation he is talking about is future (those who will inherit salvation) and tied to works (those who eagerly await). It’s taken me years to get my head around the shape of the type of salvation the author presents but has made huge impacts in my daily exercise of faith. I find him sermons presented here to be also very valuable, especially where it comes to prompting further study or application of Gods word.

To whoever is responsible for this podcast of Zane Hodges recordings.....I cannot thank you enough!! They are so encouraging and I look forward and savor each one! So happy when I see a new one pop up:) we are so blessed to have these!!!
