“Poor Roman Mars. 99PI used to be so good. The appearance of these idiots is the latest in a string of highly-questionable moves. Maybe they gave him a sack of money. I hope so.
These ladies exemplify:
- narcissism
- entitlement
- “my opinion is as good as your expertise”
- wastefulness
- utter, utter, utter cluelessness
Episode 1 sets the stage: “we lost one grant (read: screwed up so badly that a backer pulled out), blew through our other money, and, hey, we don’t want to risk our own money—only suckers do that! Let’s spend yet another party’s money to possibly (but not likely) produce something of questionable value!”
These two have no idea about the value of money, and they’re far from interesting enough to fund or support as a sort of zoo attraction. They sound like a pair of early-twenties hausfraus, spending their husbands’ money quite happily and with reckless abandon. “There’s always more money.”
Steer clear. There’s not much of redeeming value here. It doesn’t even stand on its own as a kind of how-not-to guide.”
