I only started listening a few weeks ago. I’ve binged season one season two and I’m now on season three and I’ve just subscribe as well. I really like the podcast. I think it’s fantastic and well made. Great job Ryan

Really interested in this case My sister lived on P NZ during this time and remembers this case

I really wanted to hear this podcast, and have tried many times, but I give up. The sound is poor, and the father speaks so fast and for so long that he is hard to understand.

Really there us no possibility that Jodi could recall the exact details of that time and place with a history of addiction! Even currently she exhibits signs of mental instability. This is a goose chase for answers from a variety of drug addicted people whose mental health is questionable! Way to...Read full review »

I love this podcast! I love that you’re actually trying to solve something but you need to get more women involved with your podcast because if I hear “non-consensual sex” one more time on this show I’m going to scream. There is no such thing as “non-consensual sex” and to call it that downplays...Read full review »

The reason I’ve kept listening is the choice of cases. Compelling and tragic, I only hope for resolution for those impacted. Th host claims he started podcasting to leverage his skills as an attorney and actor. Over the 4 seasons, the host has yet to use his legal knowledge to explain the NZ and...Read full review »

Warning for anyone else with Misophonia. A lot of mouth noises in Season 4. Specifically tongue clicking.

Also the casual racism of ‘Asians, Asians, Asians’ 😬 when her cousin said it was weird that she was dating an Asian “mmm… like… ha… okay?” Really team??

Typically really enjoy your podcast, but this season just seems to be hours of interviews with no commentary or putting the story together. The last two episodes have been purely people telling long confusing stories with no input or clarification. I don’t need to hear every last word of the...Read full review »

Episode 4 needs to be edited SERIOUSLY. Her poor Dad is not good at telling the story. It’s so tediously told. Shame

I have been fascinated by all 4 stories Ryan and so love the gentle way you deal with all the people you come across, good and bad you treat them all with same kindness and respect. Not an easy thing to do. I live close to Melton and you have portrayed it very well, good, bad, evil, good luck...Read full review »

I just couldn’t resist hehe Ryan, I have been listening to Guilt since series one and it has become my favourite. When I pick up my phone for a bit of podcast time I’m always excited to see when you have dropped a new episode. Sorry to family, but the father is a terrible storyteller. I can’t listen, hard to follow.
mickynz2 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 05/15/24
This podcast needs some serious editing. There’re too many moments where a person waffles on for too long without saying much, it’s like they’ve just fed us raw audio with no attempt to make it flow, or be easily digestible. I hope Alana’s family gets justice. I hate being a critic when there are...Read full review »

What an awesome podcast. Thank you for all your hard work. It’s amazing
Llllpppaaa via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 05/11/24
The host takes his time to explain how he plans to unfold the case why and addresses concerns the audience may have. He lets the victims tell the story without uncut audio. So much respect and care is given and I really appreciate it’s obviously a life's work and not just for clicks.Read full review »

I’m so wanting to get into season 4 but I’m tuning out unfortunately I can’t follow the family’s trains of thought 😩
Ghill199999 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 05/09/24
First time listener, nearly 5 minutes into my first episode and the host is still rambling about the podcast format, newsletters, and how to recommend the podcast to others. Not a great way to get listeners invested. Save that for ad breaks or show notes.
AmbieBabyy via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/09/24
The host centers himself and doesn’t seem to edit anything. There’s dead space EVERYWHERE. The pace is torturous. What in the world is happening here?

This podcast is equal parts nauseating and infuriating. Season 1 is 9 hrs & 5 mins. Season 2 is 20 hrs & 40 mins. Season 3 is 29 hrs & 46 mins. Brief they are not! Ultimately, they come to nothing. The stories move with the speed of a snail with emphysema. A sickening amount of the...Read full review »

Excellent True crime story telling at its best
Ejrhodes via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 04/30/24
A sad and fascinating story but the podcast is just far too long, so much tramping which doesn’t transfer well to a podcast, and so much repetition. Even sped up to 1.25 there’s just far too much pausing and ponderous words that eventually become a sentence.
Yay656 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 04/29/24
The topics are really interesting but Ryan spends a lot of time talking about himself and what will be revealed next episode… makes it feel like a grift.
