So many episodes that are just so boring. Same vague information that is repeated over and over.

Ryan takes you on the journey with you, his ability to tell the victims and families story is truly remarkable. I’ve cried many times, the way he makes you feel touches you in a way that I can’t explain. Highly recommend!!

Ryan Wolf is an incredible podcaster. Every season of Guilt just gets better and better.

How with limited resources, being absolutely neutral and justifying all angles in most fair way - this is a true talent. Am sad that nz doesn’t give you the exposure you deserve and if you were in the states , kingdom or Au - you would have been widely known. I feel lucky to look up one of the...Read full review »

Truely talented ‘journalist’ Ryan even though you don’t call yourself this. Great storytelling. Very sad but true stories but the mission is worth it, to gain national attention to find the answers for the family and friends.

I just finished Guilt and loved it thank you so much Ryan.

Ryan goes where normal journalists wouldn’t dare go, but when he does he doesn’t accuse or judge a person for how there life has turned out. He sees the human underneath treats everyone as an equal. This is why he gets closer to the truth than anyone else.

This podcast really allows you to enter into the deep feelings and emotions of what the families are going through. He does a great job of giving a thorough and detailed story of these cold cases. Really, it’s incredibly well done and captivating!

Such a well put together series on such a heart breaking situation. The first few episodes set the scene and then BANG .. the last half of the series was frankly quiet gobsmaking! Thank you for all your hard work and heart breaking situations this would have put you all through. A credit to all...Read full review »

I’m now on Season 3 of Guilt and they are captivating. Season 2 had me in tears about Jim Donnelly. He is a first class researcher and reporter. Cant wait for Season 4!

Thank you for all your hard work. Still hoping for closure for you, and Alana’s family. Love from the U.S.

A++ ✨deep investigated series, new information / leads and heartbreaking reality that hits home. Ryan (& The G Team) I get my ears into everything I can and believe I have only left 1 or 2 reviews for other pods in the past. I do hope a resolution is found. Alana has touched my heart! She sounds like such a kind soul who unfortunately fell into a web of deceivers and was too young to see that they were using her for their benefits. Pathetic Laurel, a weak woman who is a coward…at her core she is rotten. It wasn’t...Read full review »

Alana’s story was incredibly told by Ryan, I’ve never heard an investigator treat a case like they were chasing the truth as if it was their own child. This podcast had me in tears at some points, yelling out loud “as IF! He’s lying!”, and just left frustrated during certain interviews. The...Read full review »

I have only listened to season 4, about Alana. I remember hearing about Alana as we had close family friends that lived in Melton at the time. She was only 2 years older than myself. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this podcast and the journey it took me on. Ryan really cares about Alana and...Read full review »

I have recently binged through season 4 only because my sister in law recognized my birth place name in the pod cast. By far the best, most comprehensive and professional Podcaster I’ve ever heard. Ryans dedication to the cases he covers is only matched by the genuine compassion and empathy shown to the victims and their loved ones.

This is an understated but excellent podcast. Ryan dives deep into his investigations, covering all angles and isn’t afraid to offer his theory at the conclusion, unlike many. His style is laid back but effective. No frills and comes across as very genuine and empathetic. Much recommended.

I wish the people who gave him a great review but low stars (assuming by accident) would fix that but anyway. I admire Ryan’s confidence when approaching people for interview and I like his character. His theories at the end of the seasons seem well thought out and he considers possibilities that...Read full review »

Excellent investigation - heart breaking story of addiction, police negligence to those who die at a result of the hard drugs and the failed war on drugs that destroy communities. A tough raw listen but one all should devote time.

This podcast has officially jumped the shark. The episode Undercover is so morally bankrupt everyone involved should be taking a hard look at what they are actually doing with this project right now.

I’ve been a fan of Guilt since season 1, subscribe and am absolutely hooked on it and a raving fan. I Iove the raw interviews, insight into community and how in depth we get to know the people involved in investigations. Please keep up the solid and thoughtful / caring investigations Ryan.

The story is so interesting and I want to love this podcast but there major issues with the audio. As someone else mentioned, there are a few “wet” talkers, and one interview had a high pitched electronic sound throughout that made it unlistenable. I also had to skip through a lot of the host...Read full review »

Season 1 and 2 were ok, no real a-ha moments to help solve but interesting stories. Season 3 though was way too much rambling, half the time you can’t even understand what they’re saying. Too much background noise and the same info regurgitated too many times. Episodes could have been much shorter.
AKA_Somebody via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 08/26/24
Content is interesting. It is very frustrating to listen to though. There could have been more editing of the rambling thoughts of some people. More facts, less talk from people who seem to just like the sound of their voices. Too many “wet” talkers. Not good for misophonia!

Ryan gives Alana’s extended family Covid. 😂 I hope not but man, what a bananas episode. Theo is a creep!!! Why was he cleared and allowed a no comment? Also, the two swabs…how do they know it’s both places because we all know it gets there on it’s own…so it’s definitely bad, but perhaps not as...Read full review »

Thank you Ryan and thank you Peter for all of your hard work. I am to to episode 14, and episode 13 had me in tears hearing Peter ask Michael Maric to lunch with him one day. Season 4 was amazing-a journey with the podcaster, Alana’s dad, friends and suspects. Poor old Mr Cecil and Ryan, it’s like the blind leading the blind. Peter has decades of notes and his own research, all Ryan had to do was sit down, makes sense of it and join the dots from research from 20 years ago, written by what is a very grief stricken man. Instead what we get is a lot of...Read full review »

I agree with the reviewer that said the interviews with the family could be better. It’s understandable to have their point of view but these interviews seem like mostly fluff. I feel that if you could play some of it then just summarize it would make the show better. It’s constant tangents.
