One of the best long form investigative podcast!
As an avid podcast listener of all types but with a great interest in long form investigative podcast I can say with confidence that this is up there with the best in this genre. Despite Ryan not coming from the journalistic background he does an amazing job of providing a balanced and fair insight into his cases. Going above and beyond journalistic ethics and providing a view from the victim and victim families in a wholesome and respectful way. I suspect he is producing podcast which he wishes to listen to and as a listener I can confirm he’s done a fantastic job of that! I can highly recommend with confidence as these are well produced, thoughtful, insightful, interesting cases and podcasts that in some aspects will appeal to all. Plus on a less important note a New Zealand accent is alway great to listen to.

The presenter’s ego mares the pod… sadly it’s more about him than the crime or victims.

If you could get to the point a little quicker. Drawn out internal monologues which lead nowhere. Endless interviews which if researched properly would alert you to red herrings. It is worst than an Agatha Christie novel
