Good but dislike the pity party for addicts.
Absolutely loved this podcast- what I did not care for was the woe is me factor you put forth while Tony was in jail or he “had to be there, all alone” while he fought his case. Let’s be real- if he wasn’t white he would be doing life for all of those robberies and the podcast host and narrative failed to nail down the fact that Tony did this to himself. He made his bed and instead of responsibility for ruining his life, his sons and his entire families lives he is playing the sad card for being in solitary and being in jail. He is blaming all of his terrible life choices on big pharma and the disease of addiction. My brother was an addict for years and he eventually put himself through rehab and changed his life. I never heard him blaming drugs for the choices he made. I think the host was fooled by Tony’s charm and it’s disturbing. C’mon man.

A great storyteller with a compelling story. You know you’re “hooked” when it’s 2am and you can’t stop listening.

Gave me insight on how to be more empathetic and to realize that we all need to do more to help those caught up in Purdue Pharma marketing strategy-

It’s amazing to hear someone’s story of being on top of the world and how drug addiction can change it all in the blink of an eye. It’s inspiring to hear someone talk about their story so openly. Can’t wait to hear more!!
