the way the early Christians "read" the Word
I find it funny that there are several negative reviews on here where people chide others for listening to the Bible instead of reading it! The reality is that the early Christians themselves HEARD the Word and did not have the luxury of owning it in actual book form. This podcast helps me to experience what Jesus, the apostles, and the early church experienced - hearing someone read the Word of God aloud. It is powerful. It is about what God is saying, not the voice of the reader. Who knows what Peter, Paul or even Jesus sounded like for that matter? Anyone and anything that helps the word of God go forth is alright by me.Read full review »
