Very good, but with some odd audio issues
Content-wise, it’s really good. Both Carlin and Duncan have great podcasts and they do great work here too. And the other voice acting is pretty good too. It adds a nice change of pace and a personal touch to many of the anecdotes and events. Some of the interlude music is quite good, but much of the background music is overly loud and distracting. Early in the Washington episode there’s a beeping that makes you wonder if the scene is occurring in an emergency room or something. It takes you out of the moment. Some of the narration by Duncan and Carlin also sounds overly processed, like it’s been sped up slightly or choppily edited. I probably only notice this because I’ve listened to many of their other podcasts and am very familiar with their normal cadence. Overall it’s quite good and I really like the idea of having different podcasters for each episode. It’s quite a big project and I’m glad it’s here for us.

Nixon's triumphs and downfalls are brilliantly brought to life by Dan Carlin and it really got me interested...Read full review »
