“This is a very high quality narration of 10 Presidents. I liked the fact that this first podcast about Nixon was balanced. Dan Carlin pointed out how smart and efficient of a guy Nixon was, ending the Vietnam war, opening up the door to China to mention a few. It wasn’t just all about Watergate, which continues to happen in our day and age, but no one bats an eye at such things in our day.
I really found it interesting how Nixon ran for the Presidency, lost, then took a step down from his previous political offices to run for Governor and then win the Presidency.
You will also hear about Kennedy, Goldwater and the political climate of the times, which help to better understand what people were thinking back then.
