“Great story about “The Duke”. John Wayne was a real guy, warts and all, but he was a Man and a good one at that. He influenced a generation of good men. However the pendulum has swung the other way, and now Wayne and his ilk bring out the shrill cries from todays “social warriors”.
He epitomized the ideals of a society, though that society has passed, there are still lessons to be learned from a study his life and work.
