“I was first introduced to this podcast (and the idea of educational podcasts in general) a few months ago on a long drive, and almost immediately listened to the entire series, re-listened to it, and eagerly awaited new installments. To fill in the time between releases, I've tried other podcasts similar in genre, but Mr. Brownworth is consistently on top. He eschews some of the annoying History podcast norms - playing music, droning on endlessly about reader comments and the webpage, and what - and gets right to the facts as though he were speaking to an old friend.
