“I want this to be better because the actual crime is so interesting. But there is a noticeable lack of audio recordings or interviews with people involved, which is unusual for such a recent event. The handful of those this far are not enough to break up what feels at times like a lecture about a crime rather than the gripping telling it should be.
The ads are also atrocious. Starting each episode with a series of ads is a curious and poor choice. The lack of musical cues leading into mid-episode ads is also a strange production decision.
Still, the actual crime itself is interesting enough to carry the show.”
