Too Lazy
This is the first podcast review I've ever left, across hundreds I've listened to over the course of a decade. This podcast in particular is so aggravating to me that it has sparked this single burst of agitation in hopes that either the creators will read it and improve their show or that I will spare some other listener a lot of wasted time. I found Bald Move while I was searching for a good Game of Thrones podcast, and I truly enjoy the product they put out for that series. But their work for Mr. Robot is sub-par and suggests that they are more focused on just releasing as much content as they can and are less concerned with the quality of it. What could be so frustrating, you might ask? The fact that they openly meander around questions of which characters are related, who said what, when a certain event happened; that they dive into the complicated and intentionally detailed structure of this show without even taking the time to refresh their bearings and understand the status of the characters; that they don't even take the time to figure out how to pronounce "bourgeoisie" correctly on one of the most anti-capitalist shows on TV (really, they spend a minute just talking about how they should pronounce it). This podcast adds no value to the experience of trying to enjoy this show, and if you have even a basic level of familiarity with the plot or the concepts then listening to this will make you go crazy. The longest riffs they go on are about unanswerable and mostly unimportant questions, like "What do you think Elliot was thinking about when he told Darlene he loved her?" Sometimes they just wonder aloud whether they should talk about a certain topic right now, or later in the episode... and then they do that three or four more times in the same episode before finally relenting and talking about it (see: their first forays into the "prison" theory this season). Even recounting it in this review post is a frustrating enough experience to make me lament the net amount of time wasted by this podcast. Summary: this podcast is perfect for you if you're looking to listen to two guys that remember some of last season, saw the latest episode, read some stuff on Reddit, and then decided to kill 90 minutes talking about it all, and then decided that not a single moment of their discussion warranted deletion for the sake of a better listener experience. This is not the way to do podcasts, guys.Read full review »

Bald Move does it again, raising its already high bar. Bald Move does very fine analysis of much of today's best pop culture offerings in film & television. What sets them apart from other rate-n-review podcasts is the personable delivery and personal touch. A.Ron & Jim are both very...Read full review »
