A journey of reading - a writer interviews the writers
This is a delightful podcast. Neil has taken the premise of reading to its roots. To the authors themselves, by asking them questions about what it is that motivated, mentored or developed their own interest in reading and eventually their desire to write. Neil's approach is to ask writers for 3 books that they found foundational. Then he embarks on an interactive dialogue to learn more about the writers and their backgrounds. Quite a fascinating journey and certainly one that supports the tangibility of the real book in one's hands rather than the sterile and impersonal digital e-readers. From a reader's perspective the discussions are a journey with masters of their craft. Well worth the listen.Read full review »

Every chapter I find myself laughing because he is talking about things I have done or thought of. Most importantly I find myself wanting to be a...Read full review »
