“A little background music would really help build the story. Seems minor, I know, but it makes a huge difference. I mean imagine the movie jaws with no music...it just doesn’t have the same effect. I was really excited to start listening to this podcast as I am a BIG true crime fan but it felt more like I was being read a textbook from a teacher at the front of the class. In my opinion if you add some music to help guide the story, I think you’ve got something pretty great here! Also, not to be rude, but I’m not here to listen to your story I’m here to listen about the case so get to the case and build the story of what happened. Don’t drag it out with explanations of your purpose, or your resume, or whatever other stuff. Keep personal stuff short and focus on the case, put all of that other stuff on your “about us” page.”
