“I've been listening to Dan Miller's podcast for over a year now--like so many others, I first heard of him from Dave Ramsey.
Dan gives great, common sense advice on what to do if you find yourself looking for a job, whether from a "downsizing" or from a desire to do something different.
Sometimes his advice isn't so "common-sensical", like when he redefines risk in the workplace. He says that it is more risky to have one customer than it is to have five customers. Ok, so that's not a mind-blowing proposition, but when he goes on to state that if you work for a company then you only have one customer (i.e. the company you work for) it starts to make you think.
Dan helps you gain the knowledge to work and stay ahead in our increasingly-service-oriented society.
My only complaint is that it sometimes sounds like he's talking into a tin can--probably has to do with the software he uses to record his podcasts. But the message quality outweighs the audio quality, and besides, I definitely get my money's worth!”Read full review »
