“Long gone are the days when I would jump on this podcast the moment it was released. The old presenters brought character and humour to the podcast and made it an easy fun listen. I would pick up and retain so much information.
Now it’s very earnest. Lots on the current pandemic (of course) and climate change which makes for a really depressing listen where I often zone out. If I see an episode is dedicated to either of these topics I don’t even download it to listen to anymore.
Science should inspire and motivate. Right now you’re beating us over the head with the bad side of science. Please revisit the old style, dump some of the wooden presenters and remember there are lots of positive science stories to cover too.”
