Law for the Lamen
I don’t know if any of you prude academics listened to the first episode, but this is not the boring, nuanced podcast that you’re used to listening to. Who cares if there is profanity? “profanity is a crutch for the ignorant” This is the type of gatekeeping they’re talking about. This podcast is not for you if you feel this way. This podcast opens the door to research and discussion for your average person. They do a great job at explaining the partisan decisions of the Supreme Court and highlighting issues that affect all of us. Listen.

cool hosts and good analysis kind of wish they would read more from the decisions; when they make a comment like “Thomas is usually a good writer, but he’s scattered and ranty here” it’s hard to see what their basis is for that. but I still think it’s great

An unflinching look at the dirty, partisan truth of the Supreme Court. Accessible legal analysis mixed with dark humor, without wasting a shred of deference on the robed wonders. The perfect accompaniment to your morning cup of existential dread.
