It brought back such wonderful memories of his previous run on 5 Live: Iain Dowie looking like Earthworm Jim, Bob Wilson's middle name being Primrose, 200-250-a-side football at Wembley, playing football with ear defenders on a military plane, and most of all - the classic hilarity that was the Dundee United Bow Tie! “Danny boy talks too much! He is constantly trying to be funny, and frankly he is not. I much prefer the football heads like Mr Green and Spoony. I cringe when the Baker podcast comes in. I want football news not some nervy chatterbox who does not see the games. Get rid please!”
