“It's a great show, I rely on it for all my footie news (as an ex-pat Brit in the USA). The hosts are excellent - Alan Green particularly (Ray Stubbs is a bit dour) - and ask what are sometimes difficult questions about the game. Why, though, is either the BBC are Apple (iTunes) making such a mess of this download? In the past 3 weeks file sizes have ranged from 80+ MB to todays, over 100MB. It's typical that this has gone wrong at the climax to the Premiership and the European Cup (not to mention the great race for the Championship/relegation issues etc). Can someone please make sure this pod cast is returned to its reliable, small size (an average 14MB) and won't continue to take several hours to download?”Read full review »

“Please please please let danny do the regular 606, he's soooooo much better than Alan Green or that spanner, "Spoony". I love his anecdotes, enthusiasm and intelligent craziness. As others have said, this man is a national broadcasting treasure, and he should be on Radio 5 every week.”Read full review »
