A film podcast for the unpretentious
A problem that plagues a lot of movie podcasts is the feeling that everyone involved is kind of a dick. 70mm stands out from the crowd because it feels like hanging out with your friends and talking about movies, rather than getting the chance to listen in on a discussion between film critics. But at the same time, it’s not a huge Buzzfeed-esque media church either. 70mm doesn’t spend every waking moment shilling for franchises, discussing the latest comic book movie scoops, and treating giant media companies as God. I mean, what other podcast has episodes on Ratcatcher, Batman 1989, and Rosemary’s Baby, and looks at them all with the same level of enthusiasm? The hosts bring a balanced, amicable harmony to discussion, the artwork is beautiful, and it just feels like having a really great discussion with your buddies once a week.

Completely enjoyed every episode. 5 bangers on each. Thanks for helping me dust off some old movies and find some new treasures. Suggestion for future shows Barefoot in the Park & Arsenic and Old Lace.

As a white man, 70mm is my favorite flavor of woke film twats.

The love of friendship and films comes through the three hosts of 70mm every minute of every episode. My request for an episode: Catch Me If You Can
