Technothriller science fiction that hooks you
In the Seventh Son novels, JC Hutchins created likeable and despicable characters and set them loose on each other in matches of wits and firepower that are the equal of the best Tom Clancy thrillers or Michael Bay blockbusters. The story: Seven 'Beta' clones are brought together to play a game of cat and mouse to save a world on the brink of world war from the man they were cloned from: John 'Alpha'. Traps, puzzles and games-within-games await our heroes as they peel the layers to the villian's plan to change the world forever. Cliffhanger chapters build the pace to shocking revelations and always-higher stakes, and the listener is propelled along at high velocity. Sound effects pepper the author's reading to good effect, and at the core of all of it are characters you're made to care about and compelling adventures seen through their eyes. Hours and hours of entertainment await you in the Seventh Son books. This book is strongly recommended, along with the sequels.Read full review »

If I didn't have so far to drive on this trip, I would have never listened to all of it. I just kept thinking it was building to something. Never...Read full review »
