Brilliantly entertaining podcast!
I downloaded and binge-listened to the first “Season” - the 80s albums of Elton John - and have gotta say that I love this Podcast SO much! On one level you get sensible, interesting, informative commentary of the Albums - although I consider myself an Elton fan and thought I knew a lot about his albums of this time, I learned quite a lot of new things and heard new takes and interview snippets I had not heard before.. On another level it’s a crazy whirlwind of sound effects, opinions and call-backs - which made me laugh WAAAYY too much at times.. I’d definitely recommend this podcast to anyone with an interest in music, a want to dive deeper into music and have a lot of laughs along the way.. Extra points for interview with - I assume - your child after having watched the music video for “I’m Still Standing” - and the commentary on the meaning behind “Japanese Hands”, which made me laugh A LOT..!! Keep up the awesome work!!

More reviews of 80sography
I love 80s music, but to be honest I think this podcast just gets music interviews and music discussion right regardless of the era. Some absolute gems here with producers opening up with some really candid stories about some classic albums. Highly recommended gem.

Genuine, humorous and honest interview/ banter with the architects of eighties music. Fascinating insights into the work ethics and the business side of things. Highly recommended!
