The creative mind, distilled
As a fellow photog, I've been familiar with David's creative work, but less so with his creative voice until this podcast. Each episode sees David unpack a creative thesis, distilled from years of industry (and life) experience, which he delivers in a no-nonsense, highly articulate voice. The common thread that runs across the current episodes seems clear: to remove the excuses and false narratives about what it is to be a "creative" and encourage artists of all stripes to get on with their work. Highly recommended!Read full review »

The way David talks about craft is always well thought out and well written with his blog, but now with a podcast you get more immersed into what he is saying. I binge listened to all three that are currently available, and highly recommend any creative person give this podcast a listen to.

I love David duChemin’s new podcast, A Beautiful Anarchy. David gets right to the heart of issues that artists—and all people—face, such as authenticity, perfectionism and time management. The podcast is also less that 15 minutes, the perfect bite-size instruction and motivation that I need.
