Simon and his guests bring forth so many ideas that we as humans need these days. Not just as a light in the darkness, but as something to move towards and to be able to take action on in order to grow that light.

This is such important content for our world today. Thank you, Simon for your gift that you share in such a positive and intentional way. I consider you to be a conversation partner, through this medium, in my life journey. I would love to discuss these kind of ideas over a bourbon with you some...Read full review »

I struggle keeping focused and enjoying this podcast because of the long, repetitive, advertising interruptions.

In a ecosystem full of anger and hate, you need to find the gems that carve a path to healing people and relationships, and laying out steps towards unifying society.

LOVED this one! I have ALWAYS been a big believer in the importance of smell. Which is most likely why I struggle when there are restricted scent environments. (I get it, but….). And there have been so many scents that bring me right back to a core memory and I LOVE THAT! I also LOVE YOUR...Read full review »

Love how Simon has such an awesome array of guests and who dive into the depths of ways for high performance, optimism and positive life. The ‘Why Guy’ has been a blessing to us all 👍

I used to love listening to the podcast. The topics are so interesting but I simply can not continue listening with all the advertising every 10 minutes. Is there a ad free version?

Love tuning into this podcast. I’m a newcomer to Simon and his work, but already a huge fan!

I came across this particular podcast, A bit of Optimism, in my early stages of “kicking the tires” on the whole podcast thing. What I instantly took away was a bit of optimism wasn’t all sunshines and rainbows, but the process, the recipe for finding the light in a dim, dismal, complex scenario....Read full review »

Having listened to this from the start during lockdown, I’m perplexed why someone who professes to the Infinite Game doesn’t give listeners the option to pay for an ad-free version of the podcast, rather than being bombarded with cheap/irrelevant ads which spoils the joy of the content (which is...Read full review »

I absolutely love this podcast. Even when guests are on that I have no interest in (or think I have no interest in) like F1 drivers etc, I still learn something. This podcast is just pure joy for me! It makes me sure that there is a better world out there!

Each guest challenges my thinking in so many ways. I recommend this podcast often to fellow workers, and many of our graduate students. Thanks for choosing these wonderful guests.

Great guests. Great conversations. My only criticism is that Simon interrupts his guests too often while they are in the middle of sharing their perspective and wisdom. Often, it feels like he needs to insert his two cents out of some type of inferior complex. It is rude and disrespectful to his...Read full review »

If you feel the art of raising questions can be more valuable than spitting out answers, this pod, especially the episode with Neil Strauss, shows how to raise them in an interesting conversation. A weirdly playful philosophical hairsplit episode, but really fun to listen, if you are interested...Read full review »

Let me clarify… my wife and kids are at the top of my favorite humans list, but Simon is right up there with them. i’ve been a long time fan of Simon‘s work, both written and audio. The content he puts out with clever insight, simple instruction, and the optimism this world needs; is brilliant.

I just listened to the April 9th podcast “We cannot Heal Alone” and OMG! Simon, I loved your interpretation on service and how to show up. Somehow 6 minutes of ads in a 30 min podcast seems a bit much. Kind of at odds with the opinion of Jack Welch and the corporate world which Simon expresses.

Loads of great ideas and thoughts in a myriad of things to bring a Bit of Optimism to the world! And then… an add for macho hunting? I went no no no that is NOT the type of optimism I see the world needs. Or the animals we share it with.

I use to love this podcast because there’s was no add and the time was under 1h But NOW, putting 3x advertising sequences each 2-3 min long has really change our listener experience. It’s pollution to my ear and it’s sad cause this podcast has a lot of good insight. Please change that Simon.

The CEO from Walmart maybe a bit naive. Or maybe this is intentional PR move. The Walton family has not ever struck me as caring two craps about the towns they destroyed along the way. I’m torn, I love this podcast and I respect and admire Simon greatly (get in line, I know). However, the last episode I listened to had the most irksome ads ever. Thank you Simon for giving me these little bite sized pearls of wisdom so we know we are not alone in our journey and that while others have walked a similar path no two paths are the same and we need to draw on the collective wisdoms to successfully navigate our own path. Forever grateful.
