Interest from Boredom
I downloaded this podcast on a whim and, I must say, what a glorious accident it was. Marcus du Sautoy is obviously incredibly engaged with his topics that, week on week, continue to become evermore entertaining and fascinating. His snippet views of huge mathematical conundrums are as captivating as they are informative. Each detailed enough to satisfy those who seek more than a 'wiki' knowledge, yet not convoluted so as to become boring or elongated. Throughout the podcast, du Sautoy continues to enthuse his audience with increasingly interesting chunks of information which provide not a complete, but solid understanding of some of the most important and revolutionary mathematical ideas. Highly recommended.Read full review »

These are pretty short for a podcast (~15 minutes each), which means that it is easy to stay concentrated. Very clear as well.

Fascinating insight into the history and development of math as a discipline, even for those among us they are not part of the math cult.
