Alas, I Tried
The hosts are evidently charming, and beloved , so I tried really hard to get through the podcast. But the cardinal rule of writing /presenting is knowing what you're talking about, and they simply don't. Perhaps, in future they will research British idioms/terms/words and then comment? But probably not. I did try ladies, you seem awfully nice. I waded through 4 episodes. No, you didn't get that joke; or that one; or that one either ! Yes; Britain did have a 1920's ..in some ways more so ....no prohibition, but pretty wild according to my late Nan. And ...oh please don't get me started on the Dairy Industry. Sorry. Will try again one day , after you've read a little or gone culturally further than The Mighty Boosh. OR ...get a Brit onto your team, not to host, but as an advisor. Please.Read full review »

Love listening to Kimberly and Katie talk about anything. But their recap of British Baking Show has become my new favorite podcast!
