A really excellent series so far - fascinating insights into how much objects speak of the times they came from and people that made them. Thoroughly recommended. Well done the beeb! Perhaps we could have a little pic of the object on the podcast for the next bit of the series please??

I'm an info junkie and I love story telling so this podcast is fun for me. These short investigations of human civilization, viewed through the lens of an object from the British Museum's collection, are a fascinating introduction to history and anthropology. I'll be sorry to see it end. (I'm also totally psyched to go to the Museum someday!)Read full review »
