Fascinating, even for a non-history buff
What a wonderful series of podcasts! Ancient people and civilizations seem to come to life through the object of the day. The first episode is merely an introduction, continue on for the real fun to start. I sympathize with those that would like to see the objects as cover art; that would surely be nice. But a quick visit to the website brings pictures of the items and more: further information and illustrations about the true subject of each podcast, the "moment" in history that the item simply represents. I look forward to each new "moment" with great interest.Read full review »

I had never heard of many of these objects that link all of mankind together. This is a wonderful series and I cannot wait for the next set of installments. It makes me want to visit the Brit Museum even more than before, and I'm a pretty big history geek.Read full review »

Commuting into the city this gem of history enlightens, shuts my eyes and transports me to these objects in 15 minutes and reminds me the British museum needs a revisit. Engaging, context rich and high production standards
