Great story, mediocre storytelling.
As of now, just the trailer and the first episode have been released. This sounds like a very detailed and complicated case. Terribly sad. Unfortunately, all the details you need to know to follow along are spewed out quickly and with little attention to narration. He just relays information and doesn’t give the listener any chance to really follow it. Its just being read into a microphone, it seems. To do justice to this type of story, there should be compassion and attention placed in the telling of it.

More reviews of A Killing On the Cape
Blatantly irresponsible ‘reporting’ in which they continue to return to false ‘authorities’ and ‘experts’ who peddle gross misinformation about domestic violence, the legitimacy of restraining orders and somehow manage to blame the murder victim. Nasty anti-women tabloid stuff, DON’T BOTHER

Doled out in teaspoons. Wait until all episodes are released. ABC needs to learn from the LA Times and its true five star pod cast Dirty John.

Finally a podcast that looks to match all the excitement and suspense that season one of Serial had. Can not wait to hear this story unfold- episode by episode!
