I’m giving up on this one
I was so pleased that this podcast was being made because I’d hoped that these two could prove, in a very small way, that where there is goodwill on both sides, there is a route to a lasting solution and peace in the Middle East. Unfortunately, although they are becoming friends as individuals, their discussions are descending into trying to prove and promulgate their individual positions. David is full of ‘what-aboutery’ and is determined to show that critics of Israel are closet anti-Semites, while the far-better informed Sayeeda has been unable to show a pathway that guarantees Israel its security while her (and my) preferred solution of two viable states is agreed, worked on and underwritten over the decades it will take to come to fruition. I can hear ‘what-aboutery’ on phone-in shows every day, and am so disappointed that this podcast hasn’t been able to rise above it.

More reviews of A Muslim & A Jew Go There
5*
Sayeeda is an absolute queen and a role model for all Muslim women. She comes with facts and has an answer for everything that is put to her. Love the podcast.

I hope in time this podcast becomes a 5 star but right now Warsi is brilliant but D.Baddiel doesn’t seem willing to hear her point of view right now. He’s very defensive but I’m sure with a good reason. I just hope in time the conversation can develop

As a Jew with no affiliation to Israel, what is he doing on this podcast. Often his responses seem insincere or he provides no push back/ challenge to some of Warsi’s outrageous comments. I for one don’t see any point to this podcast.
