Well done Gil!
I have learned a lot from this podcast! I love Gil’s humor and his emphasis on Biblical writers and the storyteller’s craft. His examination of genre is very informative - for example, could the story of Samson be read as a satire? I also love the Hebrew language perspective - hearing certain phrases in the original Hebrew and gaining a deeper understanding of how translation affects meaning. The tidbits about how certain phrases (for instance, “for your little girl Rachel”) have become idioms in modern-day Hebrew are delightful.

Gil and Omri do an awesome job with the original text and narrative perspective! 5 stars!! As an English speaker, there is so much that I missed from regular Sunday school. Only question, which one is Mario? And which one is Luigi?
