“An excellent podcast that is akin to eavesdropping on a funny conversation between good friends. The only downside is not being able to join in yourself.
Mimi (the main host) sets the tone for the podcast and deserves a lot of credit for its humour. The hosts have a real enthusiasm for the world of ASOIAF but are not spineless sycophants to GRRM -- if there's a joke or criticism to be made, they'll make it with syle and a Manwoody reference (and bless them for it).
They are self-deprecating and are upfront about any technical / scheduling shortcomings. Some shows are unedited, but that only adds the conversational atmosphere.
If you are a fan of ASOIAF but don't have anyone to talk about it with in your everyday life, this Podcast really fills all the right holes and creaks all the right doors.”
