Decent but strung out
This is an ok story - but there’s very little to it except: ‘vulnerable people get hoodwinked’. Although you feel a great deal of sympathy for those involved there isn’t much ground to cover other than the age old story of people being sold something that doesn’t exist. In short there’s no rep justification for the number of episodes as it could easily be covered im half an hour - there’s also zero explanation as to why it’s titled ‘a very British cult’. There’s nothing particularly British about it at all.

More reviews of A Very British Cult
I listened to this in one sitting, which I never do, and was fascinated. I’m a South African living in Johannesburg and it was strange to hear that accent and sad to hear Paul’s deception and delusion. We’ll done to those who’ve got out and going the rest get out too.

This is probably the best podcast that I’ve listened to in ages. Absolutely well researched and an insight into the lengths people go to to try and manipulate others. Have been recommending this all weekend to friends and family. Thank you!!
