Decent but strung out
This is an ok story - but there’s very little to it except: ‘vulnerable people get hoodwinked’. Although you feel a great deal of sympathy for those involved there isn’t much ground to cover other than the age old story of people being sold something that doesn’t exist. In short there’s no rep justification for the number of episodes as it could easily be covered im half an hour - there’s also zero explanation as to why it’s titled ‘a very British cult’. There’s nothing particularly British about it at all.

Wow, another great documentary from the BBC. Brilliantly researched and charmingly, intelligently presented.
