“A really good podcast. Pity the BBC didn’t research closer to home. These are the exact same tactics used by Tigrent Learning several years ago, a group run by the BBCs own Martin Roberts from Homes Under the Hammer. They invited people to taster meetings to teach them how to invest in property. At those meetings they were strongly encouraged to invest several thousand in a weekend mentorship meeting where they would ‘learn all’. At this weekend meeting they were encouraged to invest tens of thousands in their own ‘mentor’ who would help them make money and would ‘’teach them everything’. In the end nobody learned anything and many people lost a lot of money.”
