These guys are super knowledgeable, entertaining and have nice chummy accents. I think they’re best on the stories and the context of buildings. When it comes to architectural descriptions, they are a bit up against the limits of the podcast medium. In spite of their careful and inventive use of language, it can be difficult to visualise the buildings they are talking about (speaking as a non architect). Their Instagram is a v good visual supplement to the episodes though - my one piece of advice for them would be to tell people about it more on the podcasts, e.g. when there are specific photos on the insta that would illuminate a piece of description. That aside, great podcast, always worth a listen!

Hilariously snobby and British this conversational deconstruction of the literature of architecture is savage (though probably warranted) but most of all a heart warming, smart, and screwball appreciation of ideas in and around the built world.
